Frank L. Colo

Frank L. Colo, 89, of Ernest, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026.

He was born on May 16, 1936 to the late Sebastian and Emma (Michelini) Colo.  He was retired from Fisher Scientific Company in Indiana, he was a member of the Church of the Resurrection in Ernest. 

Frank was a sports enthusiast, especially with the Steelers, Pirates, and the Penguins.  Frank will be remembered as a Loving Husband, Father, Brother and Grandfather.

Frank is survived by his wife; Theresa M(Farine) Colo whom he married on October 10, 1959, children; David A. (Shannon) Colo of Frederick, MD, Lisa A. (Dean) Lockard of Clymer, PA., Vince A. (Tifani) Colo of Canonsburg, PA., eight grandchildren; Chad, Christina (Eric), Brianna, Kayli, Kaitlyn, Jacob, Mairin, and Eden.

He was preceded in death by his son; Paul Colo, brothers and sisters; Albert, Theresa Gett, Guido, Alice Fusaro, Elvera Zimmers, Virginia Borovatz, Hilda Covolo, Joseph, and his granddaughter; Alisha Bowman.

Friends will be received on Friday, February 27, 2026 at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home 898 Old Route 119 Hwy N. Indiana, PA 15701 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday February 28, 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Resurrection, Ernest, Pa .

Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery.
